Summary

These photos show the color and pattern of the true tri colored hognosed snake (Lystrophis semicinctus). Other tri colored hognosed snakes are typically mislabelled as L. semicinctus but to date, no true semicinctus have been offered for sale on the retail market. The main reason for this is likely that the countries in which this species is found prohibit its export.
